Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has officially announced the 14th Edition of the organization’s Annual Lecture to be chaired by Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo G.C.F.R Ph.D. on March 22nd, 2018 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a renowned Global Leader, Agriculturist and Avid reader, amongst other attributes, is a firm believer in the undermined potentials of the Nigerian woman.
Tagged “Women, Politics and Nation Building: Press For Progress” this year’s Lecture is designed to challenge women to push the envelope and chart new territories in line with the organization’s objective to empower women to achieve their potential and become meaningful contributors to economic development. Coincidentally, the Annual Lecture will hold in March the month of the International Women’s Day celebrated globally.
The Annual Lecture was established in 2004 to stimulate discussions on topical issues which affect women in their personal, professional and organizational lives and in their role as nation builders. The Lecture topics typically extract key ideas and emerging national and global issues from the renowned WIMBIZ Annual Conference.
WIMBIZ continues to inspire women towards active and positive influence in their various endeavors and in the polity at large.
